Srd Sassa Status Check

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) It is a government agency responsible for administering social grants and ensuring the welfare of South African citizens, such as pensions, child support grants, disability grants, and other forms of social assistance.

The SASSA Status Check is an online service allowing applicants of the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) Grant to monitor the progression of their application. It indicates whether the application is in the process of submission, deemed, or status is considered as rejection. It ensures that the persons who have already submitted the application are aware of whether they qualify for the grants and the status of the payments. Periodic verification of status is needed to retain active status. This program favors people who do not get other forms of financial assistance like UIF or NSFAS.
