SASSA Payment Dates For November 2024

How to collect SRD grants via the Post Office

The grant applicant’s bank will send a voucher via SMS to the beneficiary. This voucher will contain important information, such as the grant amount and a unique reference number. The beneficiary will need to visit an ATM at their bank that offers Cash Sent services. When the beneficiary arrives at the ATM, they will need to enter the SASSA grant number that was provided in the SMS. 

This will serve as verification and allow the beneficiary to access their grant funds. After entering the grant number, the beneficiary will need to verify their transaction by entering the OTP sent along with the SMS. The OTP is a code that allows the beneficiary to confirm that they are indeed making the withdrawal request and that they are the rightful owner of the grant account. 

The beneficiary will enter the OTP on their mobile phone, which will trigger a process to verify the transaction. Once the OTP is verified, the beneficiary will be able to withdraw money from their SASSA accounts. The beneficiary has the option to determine how much they want to withdraw from their grant account. 

They can either withdraw all the money available to them or withdraw only the amount they require at the moment. This flexibility allows the beneficiary to manage their funds effectively. In summary, the grant applicant’s bank will send a voucher via SMS to the beneficiary. The beneficiary will need to visit an ATM at their bank that offers Cash Sent services. The beneficiary will need to enter the SASSA grant number during the ATM transaction.
